IDEA FOR NEXT SEASON

Someone on my friends list is currently in a league in which team-rosters are custom. The rules to this league are:

- Must be 4star at most
- No selection of players rated 84+ at any position
- Attack, Mid, or Defense group-ratings must be no higher than 79
- Team limited to 18 players
- Highest 11 rated players must AVERAGE a rating no higher than 78.5
- 12th-14th highest rated players must have ratings no higher than 74
- 15th-18th highest rated players must have ratings no higher than 69
- Everyone picks out of a hat, a gamer's team that they must verify meets the above rules (That way 1 person doesn't have the burden of verifying every team). This is done twice to better ensure validity (Your team must pass the test twice, by 2 separate testers)

I think it makes things interesting. Checking that every team meets guidelines is actually pretty easy. From what i've been told, the most difficult part is the actual drafting of players. To avoid that issue, just allow for any 1 footballer to be on a max of __ teams (or no limit). That way there's no draft, just choosing a lineup and adjusting as necessary.

Why cant we do a prem league with transfers. Each team is drawn out of a hat with smaller teams getting a bigger transfer fund. 5 transfers a window including loans. Meaning bigger teams have to sell to get new players in. maybe allow 2 foreign transfers in a squad (out of prem league) which the fee will be made according to stats but will be higher than the same stat prem player. TBH im pissed at min ill explain more tomorro

Oh ye I can picture it now. Instead of the desperate scramble for Barca and Man U online it will be Citeh and Madrid. Joy.

I always liked the idea of transfers but it's hard to do unless you have someone there willing to put in the time and effort of checking transfers.

Transfers is a fun idea but it can only work if two things happen.

1. We have a massive surge in members, I mean from 16 to at least 40.

2. We need more than one administrator. Bless him Ossie, but there's no way he'll be able to do a job that needs about 6 people to organise.


As for your idea Drew, it's not a bad one but it sounds like a nightmare trying to organise.
